Tender & Bid Executive

About The Opportunity

A growing firm operating in the infrastructure, construction and industrial services sector seeking a hands-on Tender & Bid Executive to manage end-to-end tendering activities. This on-site role (India) will drive timely, compliant and commercially competitive bid submissions across public and private RFP/RFQ/EOI opportunities.

  • Own end-to-end bid lifecycle: review RFP/RFQ/EOI, define bid plan, allocate responsibilities and drive on-time submission.
  • Prepare and compile technical-commercial proposals, BOQs, schedules and bid documents; ensure clarity of scope and compliance with tender conditions.
  • Develop accurate costings and pricing models, perform margin and risk analysis, and recommend commercial strategies to maximise win-probability.
  • Coordinate cross-functional inputs from engineering, procurement, finance and legal; consolidate clarifications and RFIs for client pre-bid interactions.
  • Manage bid submissions on e-procurement portals (including government portals), maintain tender calendar and enforce strict version control and document standards.
  • Maintain tender repository and post-bid documentation, support contract handover and capture learnings from debriefs to improve future bids.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Must-Have
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Commerce or related discipline.
    • 2+ years of hands-on tender/bid management experience in construction, infrastructure, EPC or industrial services (private or government bids).
    • Strong proficiency in MS Excel (pricing models, pivot tables), Word and PowerPoint; familiarity with ERP/TMS and e-procurement platforms.
    • Proven ability to prepare BOQs, perform commercial costing, margin analysis and risk identification.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines under pressure.
    • Willingness to work on-site in India and travel to client/pre-bid locations as required.
  • Preferred
    • Experience with government tenders and portals like GeM, state e-procurement platforms or similar.
    • Familiarity with contract terms & conditions, commercial negotiations and post-award handover processes.
    • Certification in procurement, contract management or tendering is an advantage.
