What you’ll do
The Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) organization embodies the hub of lifecycle engineering at TJX, delivering, maintaining, and optimizing our technology portfolio at cloud scale. We are a service-oriented team aimed at providing extraordinary experiences to thousands of TJX associates, business partners, and application delivery teams across the portfolio.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Manager to oversee our asset management and print services operations within the End User Services (EUS) organization. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless lifecycle management of end-user assets, including laptops, desktops, peripherals, printers, desktop phones, digital signage, shared displays, and conference room technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise and strategic vendor leadership to drive operational excellence and elevate the standards of this function to best-in-class performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Asset Lifecycle Management
Oversee the full lifecycle of end-user assets, including procurement, inventory, reclamation, and disposal.
Ensure CMDB and inventory integrity through regular audits and updates.
Drive standardization and process maturity across asset management practices.
End user assets include laptop, desktops, conference rooms, Printers, Digital signages and other peripherals.
Print Vendor Governance and Performance
Manage third-party vendors responsible for print services, ensuring high-quality support delivery.
Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and enforce SLAs.
Conduct regular performance reviews and implement improvement plans as needed.
Driving Standardization and Process Maturity:
Lead efforts to standardize asset management processes across various end user assets including Laptop/Desktop, Conference Room Devices, Digital Signages and Printers.
Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Leading Compliance, Audit Readiness, and Optimization Efforts
Ensure compliance with licensing, security policies, and audit requirements.
Optimize asset utilization and cost-effectiveness through strategic planning and execution.
Create user guides, FAQs, and other resources to enhance user experience.
Regional Leadership & Operational Oversight
Serve as the regional lead for End User Services (EUS) operations for the India IT office, ensuring alignment with global standards and local business needs.
Oversee and manage third-party vendor performance, ensuring service levels and operational KPIs are consistently met.
Act as the primary escalation point for EUS operations in the region, driving timely resolution of critical issues and fostering continuous improvement
Drive the adoption of ITIL processes and industry best practices to enhance service delivery, incident management, and operational support.
What you’ll need
We seek creative, customer-focused individuals with a foundational knowledge and interest in IT and a mindset for continuous improvement. We rethink how software and infrastructure are delivered at cloud scale, and work closely with other teams to improve key services.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Overall 12+ years of experience in IT Industry and minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in IT asset management.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT support operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow (Asset, CMDB, Incident modules).
Strong knowledge of Power BI for reporting and analytics.
Familiarity with MDM/BYOD concepts.
Proven ability to manage third-party vendors and drive measurable service improvements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
