Position Details

Job Title: Lead PMO
Function/Department: Technology
Location: Hyderabad/Bangalore – Work from Office (Hybrid)

Job Summary:
The Program Manager will support the Head of Technology Business Office in driving strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and effective communication across the Commercial Insurance Technology Division. This role will assist in managing key functional areas including finance, portfolio and project management, risk & compliance, procurement, workforce management, and performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational & Strategic Support

  • Assist in the execution of strategic initiatives and long-term plans, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Support the monitoring of progress against strategic goals, identifying bottlenecks and preparing recommendations for improvement.

  • Help coordinate and track benefits of technology programs and projects.

• Project & Portfolio Management

  • Support the management of technology program/project portfolios, including resource allocation, scheduling, and delivery tracking.

  • Assist in maintaining project governance mechanisms and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the PMO, including documentation and reporting.

• Risk, Compliance & Security

  • Support the implementation of risk management frameworks, policies, and controls.

  • Assist in monitoring compliance with regulations and industry standards.

  • Help coordinate regular risk assessments and audits.

• Financial Management

• Procurement & Vendor Management

• Communication & Reporting

• Performance Monitoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

• 17-20 years of progressive in business operations, project management, or technology support roles (preferred).

• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with project management and financial tools is a plus.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
