Technical Analyst

Job Specification:

Designation: Technical Analyst (Designation will depend on level of experience)

Education: Graduation from a premium institute and or Post Graduation in Management- Finance / Economics/ Statistics with related experience

Additional Qualification: Industry-specific diplomas/ CMT certification preferred or any other Functional certifications

hands-on experience in Elliott wave analysis.

Work Location: Hyderabad

The Research Analyst would be required to perform extensive research on the supply-demand price of select commodities on a local and global basis and build several forecast models based on the collected information. To succeed in this role, the Analyst will be expected to demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, forecast modeling, and the ability to critically analyze data efficiently. Technical analysts are required to support our ‘Price Consultancy Services’. Price consultancy services are aimed at serving various corporate houses/individuals exposed to price risk in the commodity segment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Helping the RM to form a price outlook backed up with strong analytics.
• Improving the depth of research and quality of content in reports.
• Participate in Weekly team meetings along with EM on price outlook.
• Maintaining a trading strike rate of >70%; Procurement saving of >2% over the market average.
• Bringing out research innovations.
• Bringing new research methodologies.
• Ensure maintenance of the price database.
• Bring out the results from studies/analysis which would help the team in framing the report content.

Desired Profile:

Experience working in commodity, equity, or financial markets is preferred.

Experience in Price forecasting for short, medium, and long term.

Independent call-taking capability.

Excellent in Mother chart analysis, Elliott wave, Meta stock, and crowd behavior.

Beginner at Gann analytics, Financial Astrology, and Meta stock programming.

Exposure to Multi Technical Analysis Software.

Experience in using Elliott Wave Analysis is mandatory.

Experience in directly serving external corporate clients located in India or abroad is considered as added advantage.

Sound knowledge of derivative markets and related concepts is preferred.

Flexible and able to meet the changing demands of the services.

Good communication skills, written and verbal.

Proactive, self-reliant, and effective within a team Environment.

Proficiency in using software products related to technical analysis and MS Office.
