Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Asset Management (SAM) Specialist with proven, hands-on implementation experience in both SNOW (Snow Software) and Flexera platforms.

This role is critical to ensuring software license compliance, cost optimization, and operational efficiency across the organization’s software estate. The successful candidate will lead the implementation, configuration, and continuous improvement of both SAM tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage implementation and configuration of:

• SNOW (Snow Software): including Snow Atlas, Snow License Manager, Snow Inventory, and Automation Platform.

• Flexera: including FlexNet Manager Suite (FNMS), IT Asset Management (ITAM), and Software Vulnerability Management.

• Design and implement SAM processes aligned with ITIL and ISO standards.

• Perform software discovery, inventory normalization, and license reconciliation using SNOW and Flexera tools.

• Import, manage, and validate software license entitlements (contracts, agreements, maintenance) in both platforms.

• Generate software compliance, usage, and optimization reports to support audits, renewals, and cost-saving initiatives.

• Collaborate with procurement, finance, legal, and IT teams to align software assets with business needs.

• Ensure integration of SNOW and Flexera with ITSM, CMDB, SCCM, AD, or other discovery tools.

• Maintain accurate software asset data and ensure ongoing tool optimization and configuration.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Software Asset Management, with deep tool expertise.

• Mandatory implementation experience in:

• SNOW (Snow Software): including Snow Atlas, License Manager, Inventory.

• Flexera: especially FlexNet Manager Suite and Flexera ITAM modules.

• Strong understanding of licensing models for major vendors (Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Adobe, etc.).

• Hands-on experience in data normalization, entitlement management, and reconciliation.

• Proficient in generating compliance and optimization reports from both SNOW and Flexera.

• Familiar with SAM integrations (e.g., SCCM, AD, ServiceNow, JAMF, etc.).

• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in SNOW (e.g., Snow Certified Administrator) and/or Flexera (e.g., FlexNet Manager Admin).

• Experience managing or supporting software vendor audits.

• Working knowledge of ITIL, ISO 19770, and other SAM frameworks.
