About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated
Supply Chain Finance Professional
to support financial planning, analysis, and decision-making across the supply chain function. The role requires strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and business partnering with procurement, logistics, operations, and commercial teams to optimize working capital, improve cost efficiency, and enable sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for supply chain costs (procurement, logistics, warehousing, distribution).
- Perform detailed variance analysis on actual vs. budgeted supply chain expenses.
- Develop financial dashboards and KPIs for management reporting.
Business Partnering & Cost Optimization
- Collaborate with procurement teams to evaluate vendor contracts, negotiate payment terms, and track savings.
- Work with operations and logistics teams to monitor freight, warehouse, and inventory costs.
- Identify cost optimization and process improvement opportunities across the supply chain.
Working Capital & Inventory Management
- Monitor and optimize inventory holding costs, safety stock, and slow-moving inventory.
- Support cash flow forecasting through effective management of payables, receivables, and vendor financing.
- Conduct scenario modeling to improve supply chain efficiency and capital utilization.
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure adherence to financial controls, policies, and compliance across supply chain transactions.
- Support internal and external audits related to supply chain finance.
- Implement cost-control frameworks to reduce financial risks.
Digital Transformation & Analytics
- Leverage ERP/SAP and financial systems to drive automation and improve supply chain visibility.
- Apply data analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost per unit, landed cost, and logistics efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: CA / MBA (Finance) / CMA preferred.
- Experience: 5–10 years in supply chain finance, FP&A, or cost management (preferably in FMCG, manufacturing, retail, or e-commerce).
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations, procurement, and logistics finance.
- Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems, and advanced Excel/Power BI.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
