Job Description (JD)
The Assistant Manager Logistics,
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
  • Develop strategies to make sure that cost savings and Service Providers’ performance targets are met
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear documentation is in place.
  • Assess, manage, and mitigate risks.
  • Support management team with all required reporting of data analysis and prepare reports, ready for management presentations, in clear and concise communication methods.
  • Organizing Inbound, Outbound Logistics and Internal Material Movements working with Suppliers and Customers Logistics Service Partners and Local Transporters.
  • Support finalizing Logistics Contracts and Controlling Logistics Costs.
  • Improving Logistics Service Levels managing Quality of service and Reduction in Lead time to meet the expectations of Internal and External Stakeholders and Business demand.
  • Complying with Import and Export regulations and Statutory Requirements
  • Defining and controlling the Process for Material Receipt, Storage, Issue, Material Movements, Traceability and Stock Accuracy in Stores.
  • Periodic Stock Verification and Nullifying Variance of Physical Stock vs. SAP Stock.
  • Non-Moving Inventory and Initiate Actions to reduce Unhealthy Stock.
  • Loading and unloading of material,
  • Documents Control and on time Submission of necessary documents for Quality and Finance departments.
Managing Domestic and Export Dispatches.
  • Invoicing as per Invoicing Plans co coordinating Internal & external Stake Holders.
  • Complying with Export & Excise regulations and Statutory Requirements.
  • Maintaining 6S in logistics and Improving Storage & Packing Standards.
  • Reduce Logistics Complaints & Analyze with RCCM.
  • Dispatch Documentation (Domestic & export) and on time Submission of Required documents to Customers, Finance and Quality Departments.
