About the Role:

Turing partners with leading AI companies to power high-quality data operations at scale.As a Strategic Projects Lead, you will play a pivotal role in designing, analyzing, and optimizing large-scale AI delivery programs — including initiatives that support data pipelines, labeling workflows, and model training operations.

This position blends strategic problem-solving with deep analytical thinking. You’ll use data to drive operational excellence, uncover key insights, and continuously improve systems that support some of the world’s most advanced AI labs.

Key Responsibilities:

Owning Project Analytics

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale AI data projects — from scoping and requirements to execution and delivery
  • Build and own data models, dashboards, and performance analytics frameworks to monitor efficiency, quality, and cost metrics
  • Use data-driven insights to identify process bottlenecks, test hypotheses, and implement measurable improvements
  • Partner with tooling and engineering teams to drive automation and analytics integration across delivery workflows
  • Translate complex operational data into actionable insights for both internal and client stakeholders

Client Partnership

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for leading AI research and operations teams
  • Collaborate with clients to define measurable success metrics and ensure progress through analytical tracking
  • Deliver data-backed business reviews, highlighting performance trends, opportunities, and impact
  • Strengthen client relationships through analytical rigor, transparency, and consistent, high-quality execution

Team Leadership & Performance Optimization

  • Manage large distributed teams (50–70+ contributors) across multiple time zones
  • Drive a data-first culture, enabling team members to leverage metrics and dashboards for daily performance management
  • Analyze workforce and productivity data to optimize resourcing, throughput, and quality
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and performance tracking with a strong emphasis on analytical insights and continuous improvement


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in operations, analytics, strategy, or project leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data analytics for decision-making and process optimization.
  • Proven track record of managing large distributed teams (50–70+ people) and driving measurable outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency with Excel/Sheets, SQL, or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI) preferred.
  • Background in consulting, high-growth startups, or data-intensive operational environments.
  • Graduate from a top-tier institution (IIT, IIM, XLRI, SP Jain, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments; passionate about data-led experimentation, process optimization, and operational excellence.
