Strategy Manager

Overview

A Strategy Analyst plays a pivotal role in shaping a companys long-term direction by analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing actionable strategies. This role requires a blend of analytical rigor, business acumen, and communication skills to influence decision-making and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Data Analysis: Gather, consolidate, and evaluate financial data from statements, reports, and databases to assess trends, variances, and performance metrics
• Financial Modelling & Forecasting: Develop predictive models and scenario analyses for investment decisions
• Reporting: Prepare detailed reports, charts, and presentations for management and board
• Business Performance Insights: Interpret market trends, industry developments, and competitor performance to offer actionable recommendations
• Risk Assessment: Evaluate financial risks associated with investments and strategic initiatives
• Lead and support in develop strategic plans aligned with company goals and market trends
• Support Offering and Business units in developing their respective strategies in line with the organisation strategy
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of strategic initiatives
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Expertise in financial modelling and EV models
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI)

Qualifications

• Post graduate degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred) from a premier institute
• 5 ~ 6 years of experience in strategy, consulting, business and financial analysis
