Strategy Associate – Growth
About The Role
We are looking for a data-driven individual to join our Growth Team as a Strategy Associate – Growth. This is a pivot role where you will leverage data and analytics across multiple business functions to drive insights, reporting, and operational efficiency.The initial focus of the role will be to design, test, and refine data-backed incentive programs for our Inside Sales, Key Account Management, and Field sales teams. While incentives are the first area of impact, the role will expand to lead broader Strategy and growth initiatives, using data to influence performance, and decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and monitor incentive programs for Inside Sales, Key Account Management, and Field sales teams to drive the right behaviours, outcomes, and productivity.
- Analyse performance data to identify trends, gaps, bottlenecks, and high-leverage behaviours across sales and Field sales operations.
- Build ROI models, run simulations, and conduct scenario analysis for incentive plans and other performance-related initiatives.
- Collaborate with Sales Leaders, Key Account Management Heads, Field sales Operations, HR, Finance, and BI teams to operationalize incentives and other growth programs.
- Develop dashboards, reporting frameworks, and KPIs to track program effectiveness, costs, and business impact.
- Identify unintended consequences or gaming behaviour and iterate programs to optimize outcomes.
- Act as a pivot across multiple teams, translating business requirements into actionable insights.
- Conduct regular feedback loops with team leads and managers to ensure analytics and programs remain grounded in reality.
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience as a business analyst, senior analyst, or in sales/operations analytics roles.
- Strong data and metrics orientation — hands-on experience with Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, or dashboarding tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Experience in designing and implementing performance-linked incentive programs is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Inside Sales, Key Account Management, and Field sales team operations.
- High business acumen with ability to balance growth, cost, and operational trade-offs.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills — ability to work across Sales, Key Account Management, Field Sales Operations, HR, Finance, and Tech.
- Analytical mindset with a bias for execution and real-world impact.
Preferred (Good To Have)
- Experience in B2B commerce / agri-tech / fintech / logistics.
- Familiarity with tools like Lead Squared, Zoho CRM, Salesforce, Webengage, or field operations tracking tools.
- Exposure to high-growth startup environments.
- Understanding of behavioural psychology and motivational design.
