Role Overview We are looking for a motivated professional to work closely with the Head of Innovation Initiatives. This role involves supporting the operationalization of Körber’s innovation roadmap and helping to coordinate its execution across our Business Areas and Centers of Excellence (COEs). This is a role with both high visibility and impact—perfect for someone with 2–4 years of experience, a strategic way of thinking, excellent communication skills, and a hands-on approach. You will play a meaningful part in shaping our innovation efforts through research, preparing executive-level materials, and supporting cross-functional initiatives. Your Responsibilities • Work alongside the Head of Innovation Initiatives to translate Körber’s Innovation Vision into actionable projects. • Prepare engaging presentations, reports, and communications for senior stakeholders, including board-level audiences. • Research emerging technologies, market trends, and strategic themes. • Monitor progress of initiatives and support governance reporting (KPIs, timelines, outcomes). • Collaborate with teams across the organization to gather inputs and ensure alignment. • Develop frameworks, templates, and playbooks to bring consistency to processes. • Support pilot planning, prototype testing, and content creation with a hands-on approach. Your Profile • 2–4 years of professional experience, ideally in strategy, innovation, or consulting. • Comfort in working with senior leaders and within dynamic, cross-functional environments. • Consulting or Big 4 background is a plus. • Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to create polished, executive-ready decks. • Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability, even in ambiguous situations. • Clear and confident communication skills. • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable experimenting and building with limited guidance. • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to handle multiple priorities. The ideal candidate brings both strategic thinking and execution skills to ensure vision is turned into measurable results at scale. Your Responsibilities Define and lead the Digital Twin roadmap in alignment with Körber’s broader innovation strategy. Coordinate execution across business areas, enabling teams to deliver roadmap priorities with real business impact. Manage initiatives end-to-end — monitoring timelines, KPIs, and outcomes — to ensure progress against strategic goals. Act as a bridge between strategy and implementation, simplifying complex technical concepts into clear actions and deliverables. Work closely with senior management, offering insights and recommendations to help shape decisions. Prepare presentations, reports, and updates to keep stakeholders, including senior leadership, informed on progress and outcomes. Create and share frameworks, methodologies, and best practices that can scale across business areas. Your Profile 5+ years of professional experience, including at least 3+ years in digital twin or adjacent fields such as IoT, industrial simulation, predictive modeling, or smart manufacturing. Strong technical or scientific foundation with the ability to assess and evaluate digital twin solutions. Proven track record in program or project management, leading cross-functional initiatives. Familiarity with agile project management approaches. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence working at senior leadership levels. Skilled at structuring complex topics, tracking progress, and communicating effectively with both technical and business audiences. Hands-on and pragmatic, with the ability to dive into details and drive delivery. Proficiency in English is required; German is an added advantage.
