Role Overview
The State Head will serve as the strategic and operational leader for Nalanda Learning within the state, ensuring
successful implementation of MEPSC-certified teacher training and B2B school engagement programs. This role
demands business acumen, stakeholder management, and executional excellence to deliver on state-level
enrollment, revenue, and expansion goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Planning
* Develop and execute a state-level business growth strategy aligned with organizational goals.
* Deliver annual targets for enrollment, revenue, and program expansion.
* Monitor education trends, competition, and government policies to anticipate opportunities and risks.
2. Business Development & Partnerships
* Enable partnerships with schools, training institutions, universities, and government agencies.
* Build strong linkages with education boards and state skill development authorities.
* Drive state-wide expansion by onboarding institutional partners and associations.
3. Team Leadership & Management
* Lead and mentor Zonal/Cluster Heads, ensuring team productivity and accountability.
* Build a high-performance culture through training, motivation, and performance reviews.
* Establish career growth pathways to retain and develop talent.
4. Operational Oversight
* Ensure end-to-end implementation of training and certification programs across districts.* Address operational bottlenecks by coordinating with trainers, administration, and logistics
teams.
* Uphold quality standards, compliance, and timely program delivery.
5. Marketing & Advocacy
* Represent Nalanda at state forums, conferences, and policy discussions.
* Oversee marketing campaigns, events, and PR at the state level.
* Drive awareness of MEPSC-certified programs among schools, teachers, and parent communities.
6. Financial & Reporting
* Maintain financial discipline in fee collection and cost management.
* Track and report performance through accurate MIS, dashboards, and forecasts.
* Share insights and state-level performance reviews with leadership.
Required Qualifications & Skills
* Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Education, or related field (MBA preferred).
* 7–10 years of experience in sales, operations, or educational program management.
* Proven ability to lead large teams and deliver business results.
* Strong stakeholder engagement, networking, and negotiation skills.
* Experience working with government agencies, boards, or large-scale education projects.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* Tech-savvy with exposure to AI tools and digital platforms.

* Achievement of state-level revenue and enrollment targets.
* New schools/institutions onboarded per quarter.
* Training completion and certification rates.

* Compliance with MEPSC guidelines and Nalanda Learning policies.
