Role Objective

To lead the finance and accounts function for infrastructure, construction, and leasing operations by ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective cash flow management, statutory compliance, and efficient financial controls that support project execution and business growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & Reporting

• Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, payables, receivables, and bank reconciliations • Ensure timely preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements • Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors to ensure smooth audits • Maintain accurate financial records aligned with Ind-AS and Companies Act standards

Budgeting, Forecasting & MIS

• Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and project-wise financial plans • Monitor budget vs. actual performance and prepare variance analysis • Present monthly MIS reports, profitability statements, and project cash flow analyses

Treasury & Cash Flow Management

• Manage fund flow, vendor payments, and working capital requirements • Liaise with banks for loans, project financing, bank guarantees (BGs), and letters of credit (LCs) • Track interest costs, repayment schedules, and maintain banking documentation

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• Oversee GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and ROC-related compliance and filings • Work with consultants for assessments, audits, and statutory inspections • Stay updated on tax and regulatory changes impacting construction and leasing businesses

Project Finance & Cost Control

• Monitor project costs, WIP, billing, and revenue recognition as per applicable accounting standards • Support preparation of DPRs and financial viability studies • Strengthen internal controls for vendor payments, cost approvals, and material consumption

Leasing & Asset Management

• Maintain accounting records for leased assets, rentals, and revenue recognition • Track receivables, rent escalations, deposits, and lease renewals • Prepare financial summaries of lease agreements

Team Leadership & Coordination

• Lead, guide, and develop the finance and accounting team • Coordinate with project, procurement, and legal departments • Ensure adherence to internal financial control (IFC) frameworks and timelines


RequirementsKey Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge in accounting standards, taxation, project accounting, treasury management, ERP systems (SAP/Tally/Oracle), advanced Excel, financial analysis, leadership, and stakeholder management.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance); CA-Inter preferred

Experience:

Minimum 20 years in Finance & Accounts

Industry:

Must have experience in Infrastructure / Construction / Real Estate / Leasing
