Job Summary:

The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations and ensuring smooth people processes within the brewery. The role includes end-to-end HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, employee relations, statutory compliance, and policy implementation — ensuring all HR practices align with company standards and Karnataka Government regulations applicable to the brewery industry.

Key Responsibilities:1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate the hiring process for brewery and restaurant-level staff (production, packaging, service, sales, etc.).
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify manpower requirements and manage end-to-end recruitment.
  • Conduct interviews, reference checks, and background verifications.
  • Prepare and issue offer letters, appointment letters, and manage onboarding documentation.

2. Employee Engagement & Relations

  • Maintain a positive workplace culture and support employee engagement initiatives.
  • Address employee grievances, absenteeism, and discipline issues in line with company policy.
  • Conduct regular employee meetings and assist with resolving conflicts professionally.

3. HR Operations & Payroll Coordination

  • Manage attendance, leave records, and overtime tracking for brewery staff.
  • Support payroll preparation by providing accurate data for salary processing, deductions (PF, ESI, PT, etc.), and benefits.
  • Maintain employee records and update HRMS regularly.

4. Statutory Compliance & Policy Implementation

  • Ensure compliance with Karnataka Shops & Establishments Act, Labour Laws, and local excise department norms related to brewery operations.
  • Maintain statutory registers and coordinate inspections/audits.
  • Assist in developing, updating, and communicating HR policies and procedures.

5. Training & Development

  • Identify training needs across teams and coordinate skill enhancement programs.
  • Conduct HR inductions and support leadership development initiatives.

6. Performance Management

  • Assist in performance appraisal cycles, goal setting, and feedback sessions.
  • Maintain appraisal data and ensure timely completion of evaluation processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in HR generalist or HR operations, preferably in the brewery, food & beverage, or hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of labour laws, ESI, PF, PT, and Karnataka HR regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HRIS/HRMS tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
