Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Sous Chef to join our team at The Leela Ambience in Gurugram. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a strong background in culinary arts and excellent leadership skills.

Roles and Responsibility

Assist the Executive Chef in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the dining experience.
Supervise kitchen staff and ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring minimal waste and optimal costs.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a reputable establishment.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and menu planning.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage kitchen staff.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience.
