Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team in the Hotels & Restaurants industry. The ideal candidate will have 2-8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with Fairmont.


Roles and Responsibility
  • Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing high-quality dishes.
  • Manage kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and presentation.
  • Develop menus and recipes showcasing creativity and expertise.
  • Supervise and train junior staff members to maintain high standards.
  • Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Job Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a reputable establishment.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and menu planning.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
  • Culinary certification or relevant training is an asset.
