Job Summary:

Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and execute bids (RFI/RFP/RFQ) to drive deal wins and achieve business objectives.
  • Track, monitor, and analyze deal wins and losses to inform strategic decisions.
  • Conduct research, analyze trends, and create white papers, POVs, and domain insights for internal and client-facing initiatives.
  • Build and enhance point solutions, leveraging internal and external partnerships to shape large integrated deals.
  • Drive thought leadership through webinars, events, seminars, POVs, blogs, and white papers, presenting to senior stakeholders and defending solutions both virtually and in person.
  • Identify business development opportunities across the value chain and create solution frameworks to address them.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, quality, finance, technology, HR, and marketing to design client-centric solutions.
  • Apply creativity, judgment, and innovative approaches to solve complex business problems.
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to achieve organizational objectives.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience:

    12+ years of overall experience, with at least 5 years in solution design and leading large RFP bids.
  • Prior experience in Banking, preferably in Retail Payments and Cards.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and proposal writing skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

Preferred Qualifications / Certifications:

  • Proposal writing certification.
  • Program management certification or equivalent experience.

Soft Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong client interaction and stakeholder management skills.
  • Exceptional communication, both oral and written, with email etiquette.
  • Collaboration skills across multiple senior stakeholders.
  • Strong conflict management and problem-solving abilities.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Develop partnerships with external partners to enhance solution offerings and delivery capabilities.
  • Work with internal technology and alliances teams to increase operational and solution capabilities.
  • Drive capability penetration across the Banking vertical, supporting sales and operations teams.
  • Challenge and influence colleagues and senior stakeholders to achieve the right outcomes.
  • Ensure superior organization, project management, and execution skills in all deliverables.
