You will partner with US-based QA and Dev teams to embed quality early in the SDLC, establish best-in-class processes, and drive continuous improvement. You will own QA planning, execution, and reporting for your team in India—coaching them to deliver robust test coverage, maintain automation frameworks, and rapidly identify and resolve defects. - Collaborate with US QA and Development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TravisCI) and monitor their health.
- Track and report key QA metrics (defect density, test coverage, automation ROI) to both local and US stakeholders.
- Embed testing earlier in the development cycle by working closely with product, development, and DevOps counterparts.
- Manage resource planning, hiring, and training to scale the QA function in India.
- Drive process improvements, tooling upgrades, and adoption of QA best practices across the organization.
- Ensure timely delivery of Indian QA team’s commitments—coordinating release windows to suit both India and US time zones.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of software QA experience, with at least 5 years in a people-management role.
- Proven track record leading mixed teams of manual QA and QA automation engineers.
- Deep understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, Agile/Scrum practices, and shift-left testing.

- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TravisCI).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; adept at collaborating across time zones.
