Role Overview:

The purpose of the role is to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in programming languages, and experience working in collaborative environments.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications.

· Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps) to deliver robust solutions.

· Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems for performance and scalability.

· Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

· Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them where appropriate.

Preferred Skills:

Oracle Database (PL/SQL, SQL , scripting,

UNIX/Linux shell scripting a

· Knowledge of Oracle tools.

· Should have strong knowledge in SQL for data validation and backend testing.

· Develop and maintain applications using Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, and related technologies.

· Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures for performance.

scripts in UNIX/Linux for automation and system integration

· Experience with software development frameworks

· Strong understanding of software development lifecycle Agile methodologies.

· Excellent problem-solving and communication skill

Understanding of banking compliance, security policies, transaction flows.

· Effective communication and ability to work independently and collaborate within cross-functional /Agile/Scrum teams.

· Exposure to Application Production support.(some basic knowledge of Autosys)

· Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to Oracle PL/SQL, UNIX/Linux scripts, and application components.

· Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes to prevent recurrence.

· Execute batch jobs, manage schedules, and automate processes using shell scripting.
