Join us at Crowe and embark on a career where you can help shape the future of our industry.The Software Architect works with multiple agile/scrum Product Engineering teams in a leadership role in planning and directing the technology stack for multiple products. This includes identifying the appropriate technical components and working with and across teams to successfully deliver non-trivial products.
Responsibilities:
- Full stack developer who excels in the technologies used in products they work with
- Works with Product Owners and business leaders to understand business strategy and aligns technology strategy, standards, patterns, and practices
- Applies depth of technical knowledge in working with product teams to deliver software products consistent with direction; scales involvement through clearly defined and consistently applied triage
- Owns technical roadmap and blueprints for technical approaches by working with Product Owners to understand direction and feature needs and translates into practical roadmap; works with Cloud Delivery and other Crowe teams to understand re-use opportunities and limitations and drive alignment to reference architectures
- Proactively researches technical improvement and justifies the value over time
- Maintains good working relationships across levels of multiple teams
- Actively contributes to the Product Architecture Review Board in some form through membership, standards and practice refinement, or mentoring
- Creates clear and meaningful artifacts to capture and communicate technical makeup of products
- Provides technical guidance and coaching to ensure understanding of technologies and approach and improve quality
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Systems or engineering fields, or equivalent experience.
- 14 – 16+ years of relevant technology experience.
- Broad understanding of coding and programming languages.
- Excellent understanding of design patterns and architectural styles.
- Experience providing deliverables across architecture domains (application and solution, ops, data, and security).
- 12+ years of experience in developing, configuring, implementing, and supporting diverse enterprise applications utilizing a n-tier architecture, the Microsoft technology stack and the .NET framework.
- 12+ years of experience in.NET development, including experience with MVC Framework, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
- 5+ years of experience in solutions with a JavaScript framework such as React, Angular, or similar.
- 12+ years of experience developing applications on the SQL Server platform using T-SQL, stored procedures, and functions.
- 3+ years of experience with systems integration.
- 4+ years of experience with agile environments.
- Experience leveraging Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira for work item management and CI/CD automation, as well as Git for version control.
- 2+ years of experience with building SaaS solutions using Azure services such as Service Bus, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, API Manager, or other cloud technology.
- In addition to the above experience in Python is required
- Experience building, using, or experimenting with Generative AI tools (Preferred)
