Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Ownership

  • Define and execute channels: specific content strategies aligned with business goals (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter/X, Facebook, Threads, etc.)
  • Own and maintain the social media calendar, ensuring consistency with campaign timelines and audience behavior
  • Lead platform growth through native optimization techniques (hashtags, SEO, posting time, captions, etc.)
  • Develop persona: driven strategies for different platforms (B2B for LinkedIn, Gen Z content for Instagram, etc.)

Content Planning & Performance

  • Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and video editors to create engaging, brand: aligned content
  • Manage day: to: day content publishing, scheduling, and approval workflows using tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social
  • Track and report weekly and monthly analytics, including engagement, reach, follower growth, CTR, and conversions
  • Run A/B tests for creatives, captions, formats, and timing to improve performance

Campaign Execution

  • Conceptualize and execute social media campaigns, contests, influencer takeovers, live sessions, and community challenges
  • Coordinate with cross: functional teams (brand, marketing, PR, and product) to amplify integrated campaigns
  • Develop platform: first campaign assets (e.g., Reels for Instagram, Carousels for LinkedIn, Shorts for YouTube)

Community Management & Listening

  • Monitor DMs, comments, and mentions; manage responses and brand tone across platforms
  • Develop strategies for organic community growth and retention
  • Implement social listening to stay ahead of trends, competitor activities, and customer sentiment

Influencer & Creator Collaborations

  • Identify, onboard, and manage collaborations with nano, micro, and macro influencers
  • Ensure deliverables meet brand standards and measure campaign ROI

Innovation & Trends

  • Stay ahead of platform algorithm updates, content formats, and viral trends
  • Lead experimental content pilots (e.g., AI: generated videos, meme marketing, AR filters)
