Job Description

The Showroom Manager is the face of The NewAge Way — responsible for creating a welcoming, inspiring, and impeccably managed environment for every client who visits the showroom.

This role ensures that every guest feels personally attended to, every inquiry is recorded with accuracy, and every interaction reflects the calm elegance and professionalism of NewAge.

The Showroom Manager leads clients through the showroom experience, showcases collections, manages all walk-in data, and hands over qualified leads for follow-up to the Customer Experience or Sales team.

They are also authorized to handle showroom-related, off-the-shelf sales as per company policy, ensuring documentation, billing, and dispatch are managed smoothly.

Through grace, attentiveness, and process discipline, the Showroom Manager ensures that every visit becomes a memorable expression of refined hospitality.

Duties & Responsibilities

A. Client Experience & Welcome

1. Warmly greet every client and guest upon arrival, offering a welcoming and composed first impression.

2. Offer refreshments and ensure the guest feels comfortable and valued throughout the visit.

3. Conduct guided showroom tours, presenting NewAge collections and signature concepts with clarity and enthusiasm.

4. Represent The NewAge Way through elegant communication, aesthetic presence, and refined service.

5. Ensure every visitor is acknowledged and attended to — no guest is ever left unattended.

B. Data Capture & Handover

6. Record visitor details accurately — including name, contact, interest area, and visit purpose.

7. Identify inquiry type (new customer, repeat, architect/designer referral, etc.).

8. Hand over complete customer data to the Pre-Sales / Customer Experience Team the same day for follow-up.

9. Maintain a daily visitor register and CRM entry with 100% accuracy.

10. Follow company lead-management procedures to ensure zero lead loss and full data compliance.

C. Product Presentation

11. Conduct walk-through demonstrations when required, highlighting materiality, design intent, and craftsmanship.

12. Help clients understand distinctions between collections (Signature, Curated, Tailored Execution, etc.).13. Present features clearly — emphasizing design, comfort, and customization possibilities.

D. Retail & Shelf Sales

14. Handle showroom-related, off-the-shelf sales as per company policy.

15. Manage inventory of shelf pieces, accessories, and display products.

16. Ensure proper invoicing, documentation, and payment collection for every showroom sale.

17. Coordinate with the accounts and dispatch teams for smooth billing and timely delivery.

18. Update management on stock availability, sold items, damages, and replenishment requirements.

E. Showroom Operations & Maintenance

19. Maintain the showroom as a spotless, composed, and fragrance-ready environment at all times.

20. Oversee lighting, temperature, and music ambiance to sustain a calm luxury atmosphere.

21. Coordinate with Housekeeping and Admin for daily upkeep and opening readiness.

22. Ensure all displays are labeled, aligned, and consistent with visual merchandising standards.

23. Report any damage, maintenance need, or missing item immediately to the management team.

F. Coordination & Reporting

24. Execute daily opening and closing checklists for showroom readiness.

25. Participate in weekly review meetings to discuss visitor trends, conversion ratios, and service improvements.

26. Prepare daily and weekly reports on walk-ins, inquiries, and showroom sales.

27. Guide and supervise showroom support staff to maintain standards of presentation and service.

G. Brand Representation & Conduct

28. Maintain impeccable grooming, dress code, and demeanor as per brand protocol.

29. Communicate with empathy and precision — listening deeply and responding calmly.

30. Embody The NewAge Way — composed, attentive, and refined in every interaction.

31. Manage VIP and repeat clients with extra attention and discretion.

32. Uphold confidentiality and brand integrity in all dealings.

H. Administrative & Support Functions

33. Assist with logistics of client visits, small events, and showroom activities.

34. Coordinate photo shoots, display updates, and sample movements as required.

35. Maintain inventory logs for decorative accessories, sample books, and brochures.

36. Manage petty cash responsibly for authorized showroom expenses.

37. Support seasonal showroom refreshes and display rearrangements.

I. Continuous Improvement & Feedback

38. Gather client feedback on the showroom experience and share insights with the management team.

39. Recommend improvements for client experience, layout, or product display.

40. Stay informed about luxury retail trends, competitor environments, and emerging expectations.

41. Participate in training sessions to enhance presentation, communication, and product knowledge.

Knowledge & Experience

● Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality, Retail Management, Interior Design, or Business Administration.

● 3–6 years of experience in luxury retail, interior, or lifestyle showroom management.

● Familiarity with CRM systems, visitor logging, and lead-handling processes.

● Experience in high-touch client service environments.

● Understanding of luxury interior products and materials preferred.

Skills & Abilities

● Excellent verbal communication and client presentation skills.

● Calm, poised demeanor with strong interpersonal grace.

● Organized and methodical in documentation and follow-up.

● High attention to detail and visual presentation.

● Ability to multitask while maintaining composure.
