Position: Millwork Technical Detailers

Location: Gurgaon

Position: Full Time

Education and Training Requirements: Minimum educational qualification is diploma in architectural/Interior drafting with good grip on Architectural CADD and Sketchup. Those who have completed diploma in Architectural CADD, Sketchup from an institute of repute can also be considered.

Work Experience: 3-5 years of working experience in AutoCad Drafting and detailing of home furniture.

Purpose of Role: AutoCad Drafting and detailing of Home Furniture is a pre-planning work for furniture production. Mistakes or errors in this job will affect the post work. Thus this Job requires lot of concentration, perfection and responsibility. Furniture & Millwork detailer is the one who does the detailing of the furniture according to the material standards and machining requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Detailing, sectional details, typical detailing, detailed shop drawing for manufacturing of home Interior.

2. Prepares detailed shop drawings in scale or full size, from blueprints of Interior Designer, showing methods of construction and upholstering, and indicating sizes and kinds of material to be used.

3. Designing products with engineering and manufacturing techniques.

4. Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for new products.

5. Prepare multiple versions of designs for review by engineers and architects.

6. Prepare drawings for sheet/Pipe/Solid metal components.

7. Prepare drawings and diagrams for electrical devices and installations.

8. Collaborate with designers, constructors and engineers on projects.

9. Calculate dimensions and allowances with accurate precision

10. Compile data and specifications sheets.

11. Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements.

12. Have to check the plan once after completing the project whether the requirements mentioned are met with accuracy.

13. Obtain and assemble data to complete furniture designs, visiting job sites to compile measurements as necessary.

14. Check dimensions of materials to be used and assign numbers to lists of materials.

15. Determine procedures and instructions to be followed, according to design specifications and quantity of required materials.

16. Analyze technical implications of architect's design concept.

17. Ensure that detailing meets the criteria pertaining to materials, hardware and machining.

18. Check designs and details before submitting to Line Manager

19. Ensure that internal procedures are maintained.

Skill Sets:

1. Artistic ability: Develop designs that look great and are aesthetically pleasing.

2. Detail oriented: Precise in detailing and making shop drawings to minimize errors at the vendor’s end.

3. Interpersonal skills: Need to be able to communicate effectively with design team and others.

4. Problem-solving skills: Must address challenges such as sudden unavailability of selected materials, while keeping the project on time.

5. Visualization: Must have a strong sense of proportion and visual awareness, to understand how pieces of a design will fit together to create the intended interior environment.

6. CAD: A high level of technical knowledge, including CAD and model-making skills.

7. Drawing Skills: Good drawing skills, including perspective drawings.

8. Attitude: A flexible attitude is needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

• Gurgaon, Haryana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
