Product Designer – Furniture & Cabinets (CAD & SketchUp Specialist)

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Product Designer to join our furniture design team. The ideal candidate combines aesthetic vision with technical precision, bringing concepts to life through CAD and SketchUp. You will collaborate closely with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to create high-quality, ergonomic, and market-ready furniture pieces.

Key Responsibilities

- Design furniture products from concept to production using SketchUp and CAD software

- Translate design briefs into compelling product concepts that balance functionality, aesthetics, and manufacturability

- Develop technical drawings, 3D models, and fabrication details

- Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with cost and material constraints

- Conduct market and trend analysis to inform design direction

- Present concepts and revisions with clear visual documentation and mood boards

- Coordinate with vendors and fabricators for prototyping and sampling

- Ensure designs comply with safety, sustainability, and ergonomic standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Furniture Design or related field

- Proven experience in furniture design or a similar domain

- Expert-level proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) and SketchUp

- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and joinery

- Ability to create photorealistic renderings and virtual walkthroughs (preferred)

- Excellent drawing and visualization skills

- Familiarity with prototyping tools and fabrication methods

- Strong communication and project management skills

Pay: ₹369,804.74 - ₹1,447,625.16 per year
