About Us


We’re a fast‑growing D2C brand portfolio focused on premium men’s socks "The Sock Street". We build premium customer experiences, move fast on experiments, and obsess over conversion rate, retention, and brand storytelling. We’re looking for an in‑house Shopify Developer who can own our Shopify 2.0 storefront end‑to‑end and ship improvements weekly.



Role Overview


You’ll be the in‑house owner of our Shopify stack: themes (Kalles/Shopify 2.0), Liquid/JS/CSS, app integrations (Razorpay Magic Checkout, Quickengage, Matrixify, A/B testing tools), analytics (GA4, Meta Pixel), and performance/SEO. You’ll turn business ideas into high‑quality sections, blocks, and features; run A/B tests; and keep our site fast, reliable, and conversion‑focused.



Key Responsibilities


  • Theme Development (Shopify 2.0):

  • Customize and maintain our live theme (currently Kalles v4.x) and staging copies.
  • Build reusable

    sections/blocks

    (JSON templates) for PDPs, PLPs, homepage, and landing pages.
  • Implement UI features we iterate on (e.g., PDP title overlays on images, collapsible spec tables, USP cards, custom metafield tables for pieces/serves/weight, sticky ATC, badges, etc.).


  • Integrations & Checkout:

  • Implement and maintain

    Razorpay Magic Checkout

    (snippet/app‑embed) across duplicate themes; ensure parity when A/B testing.
  • Maintain other critical apps: Quickengage

    (WhatsApp)

    ,

    Matrixify

    , A/B testing (e.g.,

    Intelligems/Instant/Shoplift

    ), search/filters, reviews, etc.


  • A/B Testing & CRO:

  • Set up theme‑level experiments (split 50/50), manage variants, prevent flicker, and ensure cross‑journey consistency.
  • Launch tests on layouts, copy, pricing, shipping banners, and PDP/PLP components; monitor impact on CVR/AOV.


  • Data & Analytics:

  • Own

    GA4

    ,

    GTM

    ,

    Meta Pixel

    , and Google Ads tag hygiene; implement enhanced e‑commerce events (view_item, add_to_cart, begin_checkout, purchase).
  • Validate tracking after theme changes and experiments.


  • Performance & SEO:

  • Improve

    Core Web Vitals

    (LCP/CLS/INP), image strategy (responsive/AVIF/WebP), critical CSS, lazy loading, app bloat control.
  • Implement structured data (JSON‑LD), meta tags, canonical/robots, and 301s; fix 404s via Matrixify.


  • Content & Catalog Ops:

  • Build metafields and surface them in UI; support SKU renaming, redirects, and product taxonomy updates.
  • Help with landing page builds for campaigns and seasonal drops.


  • Process & QA:

  • Version control (Git) or theme backups; maintain a reliable

    staging → QA → production

    workflow.
  • Cross‑device/regional QA (mobile‑first), accessibility basics (focus, contrast, semantics).



Must‑Have Skills


  • 1–3 years

    of front‑end development with at least

    2+ years on Shopify 2.0

  • Strong in

    (and/or Tailwind),

    JavaScript (ES6)

  • Experience with

    Shopify 2.0 sections/blocks

  • Comfortable editing

  • Proven work with

  • Performance tuning for
