SEO Manager
to drive our organic search performance and ensure we stay ahead in a competitive digital landscape.
Role Overview
The SEO Manager will be responsible for developing and executing effective SEO strategies, improving organic traffic, and enhancing overall search engine performance. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, content insight, and performance analysis to optimize Zouma’s online presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy aligned with business objectives
- Perform regular keyword research to identify growth opportunities
- Optimize website architecture, content, metadata, and landing pages for SEO
- Conduct on-page, off-page, and technical SEO audits and implement improvements
- Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.
- Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated
- Build and execute a backlink acquisition strategy through outreach and partnerships
- Stay up-to-date with search engine algorithm changes and industry trends
- Identify and troubleshoot SEO issues affecting website performance and rankings
- Create SEO performance reports and present key findings and insights to stakeholders
Requirements
Key Requirements:
- Proven 3–5 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in a fast-paced digital or e-commerce environment
- Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz)
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other performance tracking platforms
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Webflow)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Experience in content optimization, link-building, and local SEO strategies
- Knowledge of paid search (Google Ads) is a plus
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field
- Certifications in SEO, Google Analytics, or Digital Marketing are a plus
