B2B SEO and Content Writer [SaaS]

About the role

We are looking for a technically strong B2B SEO and Content Writer to plan, create, and optimize content that attracts developers and product leaders to our SaaS. You will own the content pipeline end-to-end, from keyword research to publishing and performance analysis. Ideal candidates can read API docs, understand backend concepts, and write clear English that converts.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain an SEO content strategy aligned to ICPs, funnels, and product priorities
  • Perform keyword research, clustering, and search intent mapping for bottom, middle, and top of funnel
  • Create high quality content: technical tutorials, API guides, integration how-tos, product pages, solution pages, comparison pages, thought leadership, and release notes
  • Draft outlines, write, edit, and proof for clarity, grammar, and brand voice
  • Optimize on-page SEO: titles, H1 to H3 structure, internal linking, schema, images, tables, FAQs, and rich snippets
  • Collaborate with engineering and product to turn features into compelling use cases and tutorials
  • Build and maintain an editorial calendar with briefs, status, and deadlines
  • Own technical SEO basics: crawl health, page speed inputs to devs, indexation checks, and content hygiene
  • Measure outcomes: rankings, CTR, traffic quality, signups, demos, and assisted revenue. Iterate based on data
  • Repurpose content into docs, email sequences, social snippets, and partner pages
  • Manage external writers or editors when needed with clear briefs and checklists

Must-have skills

  • Excellent written English with crisp, structured, and persuasive technical writing
  • Strong SEO fundamentals: keyword research, clustering, on-page, internal linking, and basic technical SEO
  • Ability to translate complex engineering topics into step-by-step guides
  • Comfort with developer tooling: reading API references, JSON payloads, webhooks, auth flows, and SDK examples
  • Analytics literacy: Search Console, GA4, and rank tracking. Can turn reports into next actions
  • Editorial discipline: outlines, style guides, checklists, and version control for content

Nice to have

  • Experience writing for developer tools, APIs, or infrastructure platforms
  • Familiarity with WhatsApp Business API, cloud platforms, or backend stacks such as Node.js, Python, Java, C Sharp, and .NET
  • Experience with programmatic SEO and content templating
  • Basic HTML and Markdown skills. Can add code samples and fix small formatting issues
  • Understanding of EU privacy topics that affect content and messaging

Day-to-day tools

  • Keyword research: Google Keyword Planner plus one of Ahrefs or Semrush
  • Publishing: Notion or CMS plus Git-based workflows for docs if needed
  • Analytics: Google Search Console, GA4, and a rank tracker
  • Collaboration: Linear or Jira, Slack, and Loom
  • QA: Grammarly or LanguageTool, and a readability checker

What you will write here

  • Language-specific API tutorials such as WhatsApp API with Python or Node.js
  • Integration guides such as Auth0 OTP with WhatsApp, Shopify notifications, or Razorpay payment alerts
  • Solution pages for OTP, alerts, notifications, and developer experience
  • Comparison pages that position us against alternatives
  • Release notes and product deep dives with sample requests and responses
  • Success metrics in 90 days
  • 30 to 45 high intent pages or updates published with briefs and checklists
  • Top 20 target clusters mapped to pillar plus spoke structure with internal links
  • 15 to 30 priority keywords on page 1 to page 2 with upward trend
  • Measurable lift in qualified signups and demo requests from organic
  • Editorial operating system in place: calendar, briefs, templates, and review loops

Qualifications

  • 1 plus years in B2B SEO content for SaaS or developer tools
  • Portfolio that includes technical tutorials and conversion-oriented pages
  • Demonstrated results moving keywords from discovery to conversions

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,097.24 - ₹62,035.00 per month
