Senior Manager – Sales

Location: Thane, Maharashtra

About the Role

The Senior Manager – Sales will lead the sales operations for MEP and HVAC solutions, driving revenue growth through strategic business development, client relationship management, and team leadership. The role requires a blend of technical understanding of MEP/HVAC systems, strong commercial acumen, and proven managerial experience in sales.

Key Responsibilities1. Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute sales strategies and annual business plans to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitor benchmarking to identify new business opportunities.
  • Define sales targets, monitor progress, and take corrective actions when needed.

2. Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new clients, projects, and business opportunities in the MEP and HVAC sectors.
  • Develop proposals and presentations to effectively communicate company capabilities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows to enhance visibility and build networks.

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, consultants, architects, and contractors.
  • Understand client requirements and provide customized, value-added solutions.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through consistent communication and service excellence.

4. Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve performance goals.
  • Conduct regular team reviews, provide coaching, and ensure continuous skill development.
  • Review team MIS and submit regular performance reports to senior management.

5. Project Coordination

  • Coordinate with project management and engineering teams to ensure smooth handover and execution of projects.
  • Address any sales-related issues during the project lifecycle to maintain client satisfaction.

6. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and internal data to refine sales strategies.

Required Skills

  • Strong technical understanding of MEP and HVAC systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and analytical approach.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools (e.g., CAD, ProjectBase, GrowSmart, etc.).

Education & Experience

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Business Administration.

Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

  • Experience: 16–20 years of experience in sales within the MEP & HVAC industry, including at least 10 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven record of achieving sales growth and managing high-value clients and teams.

Compensation

Competitive salary based on experience and industry standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹2,500,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
