Qualification
- 4-5 years of experience in quality assurance
- Experience in creating test strategy for a features and ability to find critical issues.
- Strong experience in root cause analysis of bugs
- Experience in testing application workflows (SaaS model)
- Strong database skills, should be able to develop/debug/understand complex SQL queries
- Good experience on PostgreSQL databases
- Hands-on experience in Cypress io, Playwright or any other JavaScript base tools
- Hands-on in Java Script
- Hands-on scripting experience in Ruby (good to have)
- Sound knowledge of automation frameworks
- Experience with testing in Git CI
- Cope up with fast context switching
- REST API/JSON formats understanding and Postman tool
- Working experience on Linux OS
- Work well in a collaborative, team-based environment (both work autonomously and as part of a team)
- Experience on Jira and agile environment
Key Responsibilities
- Be a Tester who can test complex applications
- Understand complex workflows, integrations, understand API/JSON formats well and query databases
- Deal with big data, data warehouse
- Design, develop and run a manual and automated quality test
- Design, develop and run performance tests using JMeter and Datadog (good to have)
- Review functional and design requirements to ensure full understanding to enable the development of good test scenarios
- Identify defects and impact on the solutions
- Deliver high-quality software that matches technical requirements in a timeframe that matches business needs.
- Collaborate well with onshore and offshore teams
- Follow process by adhering to documented methodology. Provide good and clear test cases, with traceability to requirements and defects
Desired Skills
- Code analysis and debugging capabilities
- Experience in Java scripts
- Exposure to JMeter performance testing
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent required
