Position Summary
The Senior Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the IT products and services meet regulatory standards and customer expectations. The role develops and implements quality assurance policies and procedures, conducts audits and reviews of processes, identifies areas for improvement, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance overall quality. They analyze data and metrics to assess performance and compliance, provide recommendations for corrective actions, and oversee the implementation of solutions.

Job Responsibilities
- Analyzes data related to insurance claims, underwriting, customer service, and other relevant areas to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement.
- Participates in the quality assurance process, which includes standards implementation, requirements review, test plan creation, generating test cases and scripts, executing tests, managing issues and reporting results.
- Analyzes requirements, develops, and maintains test plans, scenarios and cases and prioritizes test execution to validate the functionality.
- Performs manual and automated tests for products, recommends test automation approach, tools, and frameworks. Develops test infrastructure and automation tools as needed to expand test coverage and enable non-functional testing.
- Collaborates with other departments to gather data, uses statistical techniques and tools to perform data analysis and draw meaningful insights.
- Defines key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics for various insurance processes, monitors, and tracks performance against established KPIs and presents the reports on quality performance to management and stakeholders.
- Ensures that the insurance practices comply with relevant regulations and standards set by regulatory bodies and industry best practices.
- Identifies potential risks to quality and compliance within insurance processes and develops strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Leads or participates in cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement implementing quality improvement initiatives and monitoring their effectiveness.
- Collaborates with other teams to improve the overall customer experience by addressing quality issues and implementing solutions.
Work Experience And Education
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred; Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science degree is preferred. Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Software or Application Testing with a Bachelor’s degree.
Licenses & Certifications
- American Society For Quality (ASQ) Certified, Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), or International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB) is preferred.
