About the Role

Senior QA Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and related artifacts to design comprehensive test cases.
• Prepare detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts to ensure full coverage of functional requirements.
• Execute test cases manually and/or using automation tools where applicable.
• Log, track, and manage defects using

  JIRA

  and ensure timely resolution.
• Work closely with business analysts, developers, and project managers to clarify requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Participate in requirement walkthroughs, design discussions, and defect triage meetings.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and work directly with business users to validate end-to-end workflows.
• Be able to travel to customer locations as required for onsite project delivery, training, or support.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA and software testing.
• Strong domain expertise in

  Life Insurance

  processes (New Business, Underwriting, Policy Administration, Claims, etc.)
• Solid understanding of

  Workflow and Case Management platforms

  ; exposure to BPM platforms is a strong plus.
• Proven experience creating test cases from BRD/FSD documents.
• Proficiency in using

  JIRA

  for defect tracking and project management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Flexible to travel for customer engagements as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to automation testing tools or frameworks.
• Knowledge of enterprise platforms such as BPM, Rules Engines, or Insurance Core Systems.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
