Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Security Lead for our team. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in comprehensive automated testing routines and help in maintaining robust coding standards and secure product development, with strong process optimization skills and innovative thinking to drive team efficiency and product quality.

Professional Experience

5+ years of application and security testing experience

2+ years of team leadership experience

Key Job Responsibilities

Software architecture & development

· Understanding of standard security practices in software development to ensure lesser bugs and secure code

· Understanding of responsive frontend development for various platforms (cross-browser, cross-device compatibility)

Functionality & unit testing

· Experience with Appium or other mobile frontend testing frameworks for React Native and Java applications

· Experience with frontend testing frameworks like Selenium, Playwright and others for testing React and Next.js frontend applications

Performance & integration testing

· Testing environment maintenance and improvement, and process and documentation set-up for testers

· Experience with performance and load testing tools (JMeter, K6) for applications on multiple platforms

·      Experience with testing automation frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Chai or Jasmine or other testing libraries for Node backends

Application security & data integrity

· Experience with application and network security testing tools (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, OSS tools from Kali Linux)

· Experience with database protection and SQL protection tools (Nmap, Datadog or others)

· Experience with cloud security testing and maintenance (AWS Cloudwatch, Splunk, Grafana, Elastic Stack or other tools)

User testing & client follow-ups

· Setting up test environments for B2B applications (client deployments and support) and B2C applications (beta launch and follow-ups)

· Manage testing infrastructure on AWS and Azure, with CI/CD pipelines and monitor usage and cloud security

· Scripts for validation and testing within pipelines to ensure security with application updates

Disaster recovery solutions

· Experience with setting up disaster recovery systems and routine checking of their functioning

· Incident response towards urgent issues from SaaS clients and consumer applications

· Collaborate with other vendors and APIs and ensure redundancy of databases and servers

Documentation & improvements

·  Version control with Git, and ticketing bugs and features with tools like Jira or Confluence

·  Improvement of security standards, testing tools and documentation of security practices for developers

·  Developer Security Operations (DevSecOps) practices to be brought in development teams
