Senior Project Manager – PDS (Occupiers), Corporate Interior Fit‑out
This role leads the end‑to‑end delivery of corporate interior fit‑out projects for occupier clients, ensuring outcomes on
scope, schedule, cost, quality, and EHS
. The Senior Project Manager (SPM) builds trusted client relationships, orchestrates consultants and contractors, and enforces C&W governance, reporting, and commercial controls throughout the project lifecycle.
About the Role:
- Own project delivery from initiation to close‑out—charter, budget, master schedule, procurement strategy, construction oversight, testing & commissioning, handover, and defects management—while maintaining clear risk, change, and stakeholder management plans.
- Lead client engagement: capture requirements, set success criteria, run governance forums, and provide executive‑level reporting (cost to complete, cashflow, EAC, progress KPIs) in line with PDS standards.
- Direct multi‑party teams (design consultants, QS/Cost, MEP, GC/subcontractors, landlord/authority interfaces); chair weekly site and coordination meetings; drive decisions and resolve issues promptly.
- Control cost & schedule: baselines, forecasts, value engineering, variations, and claims; ensure commercial alignment to contract conditions and timely certifications with QS support.
- Assure quality & EHS: enforce QA/QC procedures, method statements, and C&W EHS requirements; maintain incident‑free sites and compliant handovers aligned to client and statutory needs.
About You:
- 10–15 years’ experience delivering corporate interior fit‑outs (occupier/tenant improvement) with a strong on‑time, on‑budget track record in live/occupied environments.
- Degree in Civil/Architecture/Mechanical/Electrical (or equivalent); professional certifications such as PMP/Prince2 preferred; strong proficiency with MS Project/Primavera and cost control tools.
- Demonstrated expertise in contracts administration, change/claims management, VE, and stakeholder management across client, landlord, designers, and contractors.
- Working knowledge of local codes, authority processes, and landlord standards for corporate interiors; proven ability to drive approvals and compliance documentation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills; structured reporting, executive presentation ability, and a bias for action in fast‑paced, multi‑site delivery.
