- The main deliverable of the job is to make significant contribution to improve quality Norm KPIs thru various means e.g. understanding the drivers of quality. Coordinating with team to generate RCA and execute the solutions around with along with other stake holders from across the functions. This role ensures the idea pipeline generation and governance of Idea funnel (from Ideation thru implementation) for Quality improvements supporting AOS and Call rate improvements across product lines for Ultrasound. In addition, this role takes responsibility for providing insight using our master data set, developing monthly reports, and troubleshooting data issues.
- Build a successful, pro-active project team through effective people management and team coaching in order to create a motivated and high performing team.
- Set up and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate project status to Ultrasound Management through periodic reports and formal program reviews. Identify risks / issues / scope creeps impacting project schedule, quality or cost and mitigate / take corrective action.
You are responsible for
- Daily management of quality initiatives and tracking the progress.
- Participate and lead the review mechanisms for Quality initiatives with all stakeholders
- Leads the cross-functional team to proactively identify, prioritize, implement AOS projects to achieve Business Targets
- Ensures that products meet external and internal customer quality needs and cost targets,
- Leads internal and external cross-functional team members distributed across several locations across the globe, including USA, India, China, and Singapore
- Collaborate with teams on cross functional delivery plans and any changes within. Builds mutual trust and encourages respect and cooperation among Cross Functional project Core teams.
- Determines, allocates, and directs all project resources in accordance with guidelines.
- Provide useful insight by using Master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
- Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analyst if necessary.
- Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines. Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
- Drive compliance to your project schedule across all functions and secure agreed project milestones. Takes on additional project leadership assignments of varying scope and complexity
- Facilitate interaction, manage inter-dependencies & conflict resolution among all functional teams, regardless of geographic region.
- Encourages partnering: Develops cooperative relationships to achieve Project results through a win-win relationship.
- Ensures compliance to corporate and regulatory agencies policies/rules/procedures.

Ultrasound R&D team
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Science/Software)
- Minimum 15+ years of relevant industry experience in Technical Project Management. Cost Norm initiatives, Quality Norms projects are preferred
- The individual must demonstrate high levels of initiative, leadership, good judgement and effective communication skills and strong analytical skills
- Must have worked in a Global Matrix organization, managing complex improvement projects through teams and stakeholders across various geographic locations
- Great work ethics with a passion for quality, Lean and business efficiency
- PMP Certification, MBA and Experience in a regulated medical device development and manufacturing environment a plus.
- Successful track record of project management for R&D or Supply Chain.
- Excellent time management and scheduling.
