This role offers the opportunity to lead and optimize critical pre-production and post-production systems, shaping workflows and tools that enable seamless content creation, asset management, and delivery. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and creative teams to define product vision, prioritize features, and drive execution. The position requires a strategic, detail-oriented professional who can balance user needs, technical feasibility, and business objectives while continuously improving product performance. You will influence workflows, optimize processes, and implement innovations that enhance efficiency and scalability across production pipelines. This role combines high-impact decision-making with hands-on execution and cross-functional collaboration.
Accountabilities
- Define and own the product vision and roadmap for pre- and post-production systems, aligning with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering, creative, and operations teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable product features.
- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, including ideation, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Advocate for intuitive workflows and user-friendly interfaces that enhance productivity and efficiency for production teams.
- Monitor system performance and implement continuous improvements based on analytics, feedback, and industry trends.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for product-related decisions, updates, and cross-team coordination.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies and trends in media production, asset management, and workflow automation to identify opportunities for innovation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally in media, entertainment, or technology sectors.
- Proven track record of managing complex systems and workflows in pre- and post-production environments.
- Strong understanding of production pipelines, asset management systems, and integration with creative tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and product management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Media Technology, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
- Strategic mindset with attention to detail and ability to balance user needs, technical feasibility, and business objectives.
