Job Description

About the Role:

Our client is seeking a Senior Product Manager (SPM) to own and drive the next phase of growth and innovation in our ecommerce experience. This role will focus on optimizing the Product Listing Page (PLP), Product Detail Page (PDP), and the end-to-end shopping experience—ensuring customers find, evaluate, and purchase products effortlessly. You will work cross-functionally with design, engineering, marketing, and analytics teams to deliver best-in-class customer journeys that directly impact conversion, retention, and lifetime value.


Key Responsibilities

  • Product Ownership: Define and execute the roadmap for PLP, PDP, and overall shopping journey, ensuring seamless navigation, discovery, and conversion.
  • Metrics-Driven Growth: Identify and monitor key KPIs such as click-through rates, add-to-cart %, PDP engagement, bounce rates, conversion rate, and checkout completion.
  • Customer Experience: Partner with UX/UI teams to design frictionless, intuitive interfaces across devices, focusing on personalization, recommendations, and content quality.
  • Search & Discovery Optimization: Improve product discovery through intelligent filters, categorization, and AI/ML-driven search capabilities.
  • Experimentation: Run A/B and multivariate tests to validate hypotheses and optimize PLP/PDP performance.
  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with merchandising and marketing teams to ensure product descriptions, images, videos, and reviews are compelling and consistent.
  • Checkout & Cart Flow: Enhance the pre-checkout and checkout journey to minimize drop-offs and improve purchase completion.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align with engineering, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure seamless inventory, pricing, and delivery experiences.
  • Customer Insights: Use data, heatmaps, customer feedback, and journey analytics to prioritize initiatives that enhance user satisfaction.
  • Innovation: Stay ahead of ecommerce trends (e.g., AR/VR shopping, conversational commerce, social commerce) and identify opportunities for differentiation.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 6–10 years of experience in product management, preferably in ecommerce, consumer internet, or marketplaces.
  • Proven track record of owning and scaling customer-facing digital products with measurable business impact.
  • Strong analytical mindset; proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar.
  • Experience with A/B testing and product experimentation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with ecommerce platforms, CMS, and search/personalization engines.
