Overview

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer who can contribute to the development of a multi-module HR and workforce management platform. This role requires a strong understanding of modern engineering practices, modular architecture, and secure development standards. The platform involves workflows across onboarding, attendance, productivity, employee data management, task tracking, performance flow, and reporting. As a Full Stack Developer, you will work on front-end and back-end components, build RESTful APIs, optimize system performance, and ensure a smooth user experience. The position demands someone who can translate functional requirements into stable, scalable, and efficient technical components.

Role Summary

The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and deploying features that support the platform’s architecture. You will work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA teams, and backend engineers to ensure each feature is delivered with quality and accuracy. The role requires a problem-solving mindset, strong communication skills, and an ability to work with both technical and non-technical team members. The goal is to build a reliable and consistent product that supports clean workflows, detailed reporting, and smooth interaction across modules.

This is a hybrid role based out of Saket, New Delhi, where the developer is expected to contribute both remotely and on-site depending on project requirements, sprint cycles, or collaborative sessions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Full Stack Development

• Develop responsive and scalable front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Build secure and efficient back-end services using Node.js, Express.js, or equivalent server-side technologies.
• Implement reusable UI components and maintain consistency across modules.

2. API and Integration Work

• Design, build, and optimize RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations.
• Work with third-party systems when required and manage data exchange securely and reliably.
• Ensure all front-end components interact with backend services without latency or workflow breaks.

3. Database and Data Handling

• Work with MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL for structured and unstructured datasets.
• Create efficient database schemas, queries, indexes, and stored procedures when necessary.
• Ensure data integrity, backup safety, and optimized access across different modules.

4. Code Quality and Documentation

• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following coding and architectural standards.
• Document code structures, architectural decisions, and deployment instructions.
• Participate in regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

5. Testing, Debugging, and Troubleshooting

• Work closely with QA teams to understand defects, replication steps, and expected behaviour.
• Debug system errors across UI, API, and database layers.
• Implement fixes ensuring they do not break existing workflows.

6. Performance Optimization

• Monitor system performance and identify areas of slowdowns or inefficiencies.
• Optimize code, queries, APIs, and front-end rendering for speed and scalability.
• Ensure multi-tenant support for organisations using different modules simultaneously.

7. Collaboration and Sprint Execution

• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, requirement discussions, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate with UI/UX designers to create interfaces that are intuitive and user-friendly.
• Work with product and engineering leads to prioritise development tasks.

8. Deployment and Environment Support

• Set up and maintain deployment pipelines on cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Ensure safe and secure deployment of new builds with rollback strategies.
• Support the DevOps team in CI/CD processes.

Primary Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and at least one major frontend framework (React.js, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Strong backend experience with Node.js, Express.js, or comparable frameworks.
• Understanding of REST APIs, JWT authentication, role-based permissions, and API security.
• Proficiency with MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of Git, GitHub, GitLab, or similar version control tools.
• Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive designs, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Good to Have

• Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, GraphQL
• Exposure to microservices and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Understanding of SaaS application standards
• Experience with HRTech platforms or workflow-driven systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• Strong understanding of system architecture, SDLC, and engineering best practices

Experience Requirement

2–7 years of professional experience in full stack development working on scalable, multi-module applications.
