Procurement today is inefficient, complex, and opaque. Spendflo is on a mission to build a product that modern procurement teams actually need - streamlined workflows, real-time spend visibility, and more intelligent decision-making.


As the Senior Manager of Design at Spendflo, you will define and lead the design strategy across our product, brand, and platform experience. You’ll work at the intersection of user needs, business goals, and technology constraints to deliver designs that scale and differentiate. You’ll set the vision, build and grow the team and systems, and embed design thinking deeply across both product delivery and go-to-market. You will balance hands-on execution with strategic leadership.


You’ll drive end-to-end design strategy and execution, collaborating with product managers, marketeers, engineers, customers, and leaders to ship impactful products. You’ll build for stakeholders across procurement, finance, IT, and business teams - designing products that simplify collaboration, improve visibility, and deliver ROI. Some modules are mature and scaling, while others are being built from the ground up. You’ll need to be comfortable working across both.


What You’ll Do

  • Define and own the design strategy and roadmap aligned with Spendflo’s business goals, product vision, and brand identity
  • Lead, hire, mentor, and grow a multi-disciplinary design team (product UX/UI/CI, visual design, marketing design, brand) and shape the design culture
  • Architect and maintain a cohesive design system and component library that spans product UI, marketing collateral, web presence, and brand communications
  • Drive end-to-end product experience: discovery, user-flows, interaction design, prototyping, testing, accessibility, iteration
  • Lead marketing design efforts: campaign creatives, brand marketing assets, content production, and go-to-market visuals aligned with product launches and growth initiatives
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations to embed design thinking from discovery through delivery, launch, and growth
  • Roll up your sleeves and contribute hands-on design work when required, ensuring design quality, guiding execution, and leading by example
  • Define, track, and report key design metrics (e.g., task completion time, error rate, user satisfaction/NPS, reuse rate of design components, campaign effectiveness)
  • Ensure brand and visual design consistency across product UI, marketing, website, and external-facing materials
  • Advocate for design excellence: build internal awareness of design’s strategic value; help cross-functional teams understand trade-offs and design investment
  • Manage design budgets, resource planning, external vendors/partners, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of design initiatives
  • Stay current with SaaS product-design best practices, brand marketing design trends, accessibility standards, and emerging technologies (including AI-driven design tools)


What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years in product/UX/design roles within SaaS, enterprise software, or growth-stage tech companies; at least 3–5 years in a leadership role with multi-disciplinary oversight
  • Proven track record of scaling design teams and building design systems that support both product and marketing across a SaaS business
  • Exposure to designing AI products and seamlessly integrating them with existing SaaS products (at least 1-2 years of experience or some portfolio projects)
  • A strong portfolio highlighting strategy → execution → business impact (not just visuals)
  • Deep expertise in design tools (Figma/Sketch/Adobe), prototyping, user-research methodologies, and accessibility
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder-management skills: ability to align design decisions with business objectives and growth metrics
  • Data-driven mindset: able to define, measure, and iterate based on KPIs such as design system adoption, UX metrics (usability, task success, retention), cross-team synergy, etc.
  • Experience working in cross-functional agile product and marketing teams
  • Mentoring and nurturing the design team for growth in a fast-paced environment
