Education

Graduate + LL.B./LL.M. from a nationally accredited law school/university

Industry

Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas or Infrastructure Sector.

• Job involves travel for various purposes including attending meetings with clients, representing company in courts cases and arbitration proceedings, negotiating with clients, vendors and discussions with various governmental and non-governmental bodies. 

Experience

Overall, 7-10 years (including 3+ years of post-graduate experience at a reputable law firm) in Engineering, Procurement and Construction Business. 

• Hands on experience in litigations and arbitration proceedings including dealing with contractual disputes, formulating replies to legal notices, coordinate with external lawyers, briefing of advocates and counsels.  
• Drafting & Vetting of legal agreements such as General and Special Terms & Conditions of the Contract, Consortium / Joint Venture Agreements, Memorandum of Understanding, LOI, Leave & License Agreement, Lease Agreement, Vendor Agreements, Client Agreements, Service, Works & Material Supply Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Service Agreement, Power of Attorneys, Affidavit, Indemnities and other commercial contracts & agreements;
• Creating standard templates and formats of agreements and other legal documents for use by Sub-contract/Procurement and Commercial Department of the Company .
• Advice and guidance to varied business teams & functions within the Company on aspects pertaining to various business transactions.
