Senior Manager - Legal

As an experienced legal professional, your role will involve managing litigation, real estate documentation, property due diligence, agreement review and negotiations, and employment law matters. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating SOPs, mentoring a legal resource, and providing strategic legal support on assigned projects. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing litigation, arbitration, and pre-litigation matters; coordinating with external counsel. - Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating leave and license agreements, lease deeds, and other contracts. - Conducting property due diligence and title verification. - Handling agreement review and negotiations for commercial/vendor contracts. - Providing advice on employment laws, domestic enquiries, grievance handling, and disciplinary actions. - Developing and implementing SOPs for legal processes and compliance. - Supporting the Legal Head on assigned projects and cross-functional initiatives. - Leading and mentoring a legal resource. To excel in this role, you are expected to have: - LL.B. from a recognised university; LL.M. preferred. - 9-14 years PQE with experience in litigation, real estate, contracts, and employment laws. - Sector experience in FMCG, retail, or manufacturing preferred. - Strong knowledge of civil, commercial, real estate, and employment laws. - Proven expertise in litigation strategy, agreement review, and negotiations. - Solution-oriented mindset with strategic thinking capability. - Excellent drafting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.,
