About the Role

Senior Recruiter

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end recruitment across technical and non-technical roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and offer negotiation.
Develop effective sourcing strategies using Canadian job boards, networking platforms, campus programs, referrals, and industry events.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
Advise hiring managers on market trends, compensation, availability of talent, and best hiring practices in Canada.
Manage ATS workflows, candidate communication, and compliance with Canadian employment standards and privacy laws.
Use data to report on hiring metrics, time-to-fill, sourcing results, and recruitment quality.
Represent the organization as a brand ambassador to ensure a positive candidate experience.
Collaborate with HR and leadership on workforce planning and diversity hiring initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Mandatory Canadian recruiting experience
(minimum
3–5+ years
) in an in-house or agency environment.
Proven success in full-cycle recruiting, including high-volume and niche searches.
Strong understanding of Canadian labour laws, recruitment practices, and compensation structures.
Experience working with ATS systems and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, job boards, CRM).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently with strong time-management and prioritization skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Recruitment experience across IT, engineering, professional services, finance, or healthcare sectors.
Experience with employer branding, social media sourcing, and campus hiring programs.
Certification in HR or recruitment (e.g., CHRP, RPR, CIR) is an asset.
