Job Description

A Senior HR Recruiter is responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans, and collaborating with hiring managers to identify and attract top talent. Key duties include screening candidates, conducting interviews, negotiating offers, using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and mentoring junior recruiters. This role also focuses on building and maintaining candidate pipelines, managing relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Core responsibilities

  • Recruitment strategy: Develop and implement effective, strategic plans to attract qualified candidates that align with company goals. [1, 2, 7, 11]
  • Full-cycle recruitment: Manage the entire hiring process from intake to offer, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and reference checks. [1, 2, 7, 8, 9]
  • Candidate sourcing: Utilize various channels like professional networks, social media, job boards, and recruitment events to build and maintain candidate pipelines. [1, 4, 5, 12]
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Partner with hiring managers and senior leaders to understand staffing needs, consult on talent gaps, and provide updates. [1, 4, 7, 8]
  • Candidate experience: Ensure a positive and seamless experience for candidates throughout the hiring process. [1, 2, 4, 10]
  • Process and systems management: Use and maintain an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage candidate data, track progress, and ensure data integrity. [4, 5, 12, 13]
  • Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior recruiters and team members. [2, 11]
  • Reporting and analytics: Develop and monitor recruitment metrics to assess performance and inform strategy adjustments. [7, 8, 14]
  • Compliance and offers: Ensure adherence to all employment laws and regulations and manage the negotiation and extension of job offers. [5, 8, 12]

Key qualifications

  • Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 3-5 years of recruiting experience. [7, 11]
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is often required, with a Master's degree being preferred. [7, 11]
  • Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills are essential. Proficiency with ATS and other recruitment software is also necessary. [1, 4, 11, 15]
  • Knowledge: Understanding of full-cycle recruiting processes and labor laws is critical. [5, 7, 8]
