We are seeking an experienced L3 Support Engineer specializing in ForgeRock OpenAM to join our Identity & Access Management team. This role involves providing expert-level support, troubleshooting complex IAM issues, and managing the complete lifecycle of IAM solutions in an enterprise environment.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in IAM support with strong focus on ForgeRock OpenAM
- Proven track record in L3-level troubleshooting and resolution of complex IAM solutions
- Experience managing change requests and driving implementation activities
- Background in managed services environments supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure
- Demonstrated experience with large-scale IAM deployments involving multiple stakeholders
- ForgeRock product certification is highly desirable
Key Responsibilities
Support & Incident Management
- Manage end-to-end IAM support operations including incident, problem, change, and knowledge management
- Serve as primary escalation point for critical IAM-related issues and queries
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex ForgeRock AM integration challenges
- Lead root cause analysis efforts and drive comprehensive problem management processes
- Ensure adherence to defined SLAs and service delivery commitments
Customer Engagement & Collaboration
- Act as the on-site technical liaison for all IAM-related matters
- Facilitate regular client meetings to gather requirements and provide solutions
- Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Prepare and present detailed reports on system performance, incidents, and resolutions
Configuration & Development
- Perform custom development and platform optimization activities
- Handle application onboarding, workflow modifications, and SSO integrations
- Develop advanced scripts, authentication rules, and custom workflows
- Utilize REST APIs and debugging tools for troubleshooting and enhancement
Change & Release Management
- Manage change requests through ticketing systems (ServiceNow, JIRA, etc.)
- Execute system upgrades, patches, and version migrations
- Coordinate release activities from development through testing to production deployment
- Maintain detailed documentation of all changes and configurations
Operations & Maintenance
- Own environment health and perform routine maintenance activities
- Execute disaster recovery drills, log rotation, and system health checks
- Monitor system performance and implement optimization measures
- Develop automation scripts to improve operational efficiency
Technical Skills Required
Core Expertise
- Deep knowledge of ForgeRock Access Management (OpenAM)
- Strong understanding of IAM architecture, design patterns, and best practices
- Proficiency in Java programming and ability to review/modify code
- Advanced SQL skills for complex queries and database operations
- Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, and directory services
Infrastructure & Tools
- Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux server environments
- Proficiency with version control systems (Git)
- Knowledge of application servers and web containers
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
Additional Technical Competencies
- Secondary experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ is a plus
- Scripting capabilities (Shell, Python, Groovy, JavaScript)
- Understanding of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect)
- Knowledge of API integration and web services
