Position Summary:
- The Senior Finance and Accounts Executive will participate in financial and accounting operations for the company’s entities in India, the United Kingdom (UK), and the United States (US). This role requires a solid understanding of international accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with all regulatory requirements, and effective coordination with auditors and stakeholders in all three regions. The position is based in Chennai, India, and plays a critical role in supporting the organization’s global finance function
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with Ind-AS / IFRS / US GAAP / UK GAAP standards.
- Prepare cash flow statements, and internal management reporting
- Handle multi-entity and multi-currency consolidation of financial reports.
- Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations across geographies.
2. Statutory Compliance & Audits
- Ensure timely statutory filings, audits, and financial submissions in each region.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audit support and documentation.
- Monitor internal financial controls and process compliance.
3. Taxation & Regulatory Filings
- Manage GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and Income Tax compliance in India.
- Oversee VAT, PAYE, and Corporation Tax compliance in the UK.
- Ensure Sales Tax, Federal/State Tax, and IRS compliance in the US.
- Prepare tax computation, filing, and remittance on time for all regions.
4. Accounts Payable / Receivable & Payroll
- Assist in vendor payments, client billing, and reconciliations.
- Assist in global payroll coordination, ensuring adherence to statutory deductions and benefits.
- Review outstanding receivables, ageing reports, and manage credit control.
5. Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Assist in annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Conduct variance analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Provide financial insights to management for strategic decision-making.
6. Process, Systems & Documentation
- Maintain financial SOPs, process documentation, and audit trails.
- Support OODO-ERP and financial automation initiatives.
- Ensure version control and approval hierarchy for all finance documents.

Accounting Systems / ERP:
- ERP OODO, QuickBooks, Zoho Payroll, Zoho Books, or Tally ERP
Financial Tools:
- Advanced MS Excel, Power BI, or for reporting and analytics
III) Technical Knowledge Areas:
- GAAP, IFRS, and Ind-AS principles
- Consolidation & multi-currency accounting
- Tax computation and filing for India, UK & US
- Financial audits & SOX/internal control frameworks

United Kingdom
- Acts / Authorities: HMRC (Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs), Companies Act 2006
- Key Compliance: VAT, Corporation Tax, PAYE & NIC, Annual Accounts filing, Confirmation Statement
- Accounting Standards: UK GAAP / IFRS
United States
- Acts / Authorities: Internal Revenue Code, GAAP (FASB), SOX
- Authorities: IRS, State Tax Departments
- Key Compliance: Federal and State Tax filings, Sales & Use Tax, 1099/W-2 reporting, Financial Statements under US GAAP
Authority:
- Forex -Inward and Outward payments, Payroll and other payments, Statutory Compliance, Bank coordination, Cashflow statement & Decision making on crucial situation.
- Approves, reports, and reconciliations before submission to senior management.
- Ensures compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Monitors budget allocations
- Provides financial forecasts and recommendations for cost control.
- Approves vendor payments, invoices, and reimbursements within the authority limit.
- Manages banking relationships and approves fund transfers within designated authority.
- Ensure timely payments to suppliers
- Ensure smooth financial operations.
