Job Tittle Market Requirements Analyst Reports to Head of Marketing Educational Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field is required. Position Summary ü The Market Requirements Analyst (MRA) plays a critical role in aligning product development with market demands by analyzing customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapes. ü This role involves gathering, evaluating, and synthesizing market intelligence to create detailed Market Requirements Documents (MRDs). ü The MRA acts as a liaison between Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, and Sales teams to ensure that new products meet both business goals and market needs. ü The ideal candidate is passionate about innovation, data-driven strategy, and thrives in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. Job Responsibilities: 1. Market Analysis and Research a. Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging industry trends and innovation opportunities. b. Analyse customer feedback and translate it into actionable insights and prioritized features. c. Define and map out competitive landscapes in electric propulsion for Uncrewed Vehicles (Air, Land, and Sea). d. Identify market gaps and growth opportunities using qualitative and quantitative research. 2. Market Requirements Development a. Develop, own, and maintain detailed Market Requirements Documents (MRDs). b. Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales teams to define product-market fit. c. Provide input to product roadmaps based on validated market needs. 3. Competitor & Opportunity Assessment a. Monitor competitor products and technologies to assess threats and advantages. b. Support business case development and new product planning using market-driven data. 4. Go-To-Market and Product Alignment a. Assist in defining pricing strategies and value propositions based on market analysis. b. Participate in go-to-market planning to ensure product alignment with market expectations. c. Deliver presentations and insights to internal stakeholders and executives. Tools & Technical Requirements: a) Tools: a. Market Research & Analysis Tools (e.g., Statista, Gartner, Qualtrics, or similar) b. Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint c. Collaboration Tools: Microsoft Teams, Confluence, Jira (preferred) b) Technical Skills: a. Strong analytical and strategic thinking with experience in data modeling and research methodologies b. Familiarity with product management frameworks and agile development environments c. Understanding of electric propulsion systems, EV technologies, and energy-efficient solutions is highly desirable c) Standards and Industry Knowledge: a. Awareness of industry-specific standards in electric propulsion, aerospace, or EV sectors b. Understanding of regulatory and environmental trends influencing market directions d) Communication and Collaboration a. Strong communication and interpersonal skills b. Job Title: Business Development Manager – LEV Motors & Controllers Reports to: Global VP – Sales & Business Development Location: India – Based on Market Focus Department: Sales & Marketing Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics) or Business. MBA or equivalent qualification in Sales, Marketing, or International Business is preferred. Years of Experience: 10–15 years of experience in business development or technical sales, ideally in electric vehicle components, mobility solutions, or power electronics. Experience in LEV, EV startups, Tier-1/Tier-2 suppliers, or motor/controller technology providers is highly desirable. Proven track record of building new business pipelines and driving revenue growth. Position Summary: ✔ The Business Development Manager – LEV Motors & Controllers will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and developing strategic partnerships with OEMs, system integrators, and fleets in the Light Electric Vehicle space (2W/3W/Low-speed 4W EVs). ✔ This role combines market research, customer engagement, and technical sales to drive adoption of ePropelled's innovative electric motors and motor controllers tailored for the LEV sector. ✔ The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, understands the dynamics of the LEV ecosystem, and has the technical acumen to articulate ePropelled’s product value to both engineering and commercial stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Sales: o Identify and engage potential customers in the LEV market (e.g., e-rickshaws, e-scooters, low-speed EVs, delivery vehicles). o Own the sales cycle from prospecting to closure, including technical presentations and proposal development. o Manage partner onboarding, commercial negotiations, and ongoing account relationships. Market Intelligence & Strategy: o Conduct competitive analysis and market segmentation to identify emerging trends and potential product fit. o Develop go-to-market strategies based on regional and application-specific insights. o Provide input into pricing models, business cases, and product positioning. Customer Relationship Management: o Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including OEM decision-makers, engineering teams, and procurement heads. o Gather and relay customer feedback to the product and engineering teams to influence roadmap priorities. Cross-functional Collaboration: o Work closely with Marketing, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure alignment on customer needs and technical delivery. o Collaborate with application engineers to support product validation, integration, and post-sales support. Sales Forecasting & Reporting: o Maintain CRM data, pipeline visibility, and report key performance metrics. o Track project development timelines and align business goals with delivery milestones. Tools & Technical Requirements: Tools: o CRM Systems: Salesforce or equivalent. o Sales Tools: MS PowerPoint, Excel, HubSpot, or related tools. o Collaboration: Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Confluence. Technical Skills: o Strong understanding of BLDC/PMSM motors, inverters, and motor controller technologies. o Familiarity with voltage ranges (e.g., 48V–72V), performance specs, and integration challenges in LEVs. o Ability to read basic technical drawings, product datasheets, and interface with R&D and application engineers. Domain Knowledge: o In-depth exposure to the Light EV segment and its evolving regulatory, cost, and performance dynamics. o Understanding of homologation requirements and fleet electrification trends in India, APAC, and other emerging markets. Authority: Revenue generation for the LEV segment. Proposal, pricing strategy, and negotiation authority within assigned limits. Partnership and distributor network development. Customer escalation and support coordination. Strategic input on product-market fit and roadmap planning.
