Senior Executive Purchase

Key Responsibilities

1. Purchase Operations & Import Order Processing

• Manage the complete import procurement cycle—from PO creation to documentation, shipment tracking, customs clearance, and delivery.
• Address discrepancies in documentation and proactively resolve issues to prevent shipment delays.

2. Material Follow-Up & Exception Handling

• Monitor execution of all purchase orders—local and import—ensuring timely delivery.
• Identify and act on short-supply cases; follow up with suppliers and internal stakeholders for closure.
• Timely communication to internal teams about supply disruptions and corrective action plans.

3. Inventory Planning & Consumption-Based Stock Management

• Lead demand planning using data-based consumption models to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Review minimum stock levels, reorder points, and safety stock periodically, knowledge about Kanban, JIT.

• Drive implementation of new technologies, automation, and best practices in procurement and supply chain.

Qualification, Skills & Competencies Required

• Experience Required:

  2 to 4 Years

• Qualification:

  BE / B. Tech / Diploma in Electronics, Chemical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or relevant engineering field
• Strong understanding of Indian import procedures, INCOTERMS, HS Codes, and customs documentation.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Vtiger or similar).
• Analytical mindset with ability to work on data-driven decision-making.
• Strong problem-solving skills; ability to handle supply disruptions.
• Knowledge of logistics, freight forwarding, and supply chain processes.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance orientation.
