Senior Executive Purchase

As a Purchase Executive at our company located in Ahmedabad, your main role will be to procure materials for new products. Your responsibilities will include: - Researching potential vendors and evaluating their offerings - Comparing and evaluating offers from suppliers - Coordinating with respective users to ensure materials meet requirements before purchasing - Ensuring availability of necessary documents for materials as per regulatory requirements - Negotiating contract terms and pricing with vendors - Preparing purchase orders and obtaining approvals from management - Tracking purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials - Reviewing the quality of purchased products - Maintaining records of purchase requisitions and purchase orders, including vendor details, quantities, and prices - Keeping updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices - Generating reports on purchases, including cost analyses - Coordinating with cross-functional teams to monitor stock levels and place orders as needed - Coordinating with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage - Attending trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends Desired Skills: - Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices and understanding of supply chain procedures - Solid analytical skills, including the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses - Negotiation skills - Hands-on experience with purchasing software You will be working in the Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences industry within the Procurement & Supply Chain department. This is a full-time, permanent role in the Procurement & Purchase category. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience and hold a Bachelor's degree in any field.
