As a Purchase Executive at the company in Ahmedabad, your main role will involve procurement of materials for new products. Your responsibilities will include: - Researching potential vendors and evaluating offers - Liaising with vendors and negotiating contract terms and pricing - Coordinating with users to ensure suitability of materials before purchasing - Ensuring availability of necessary documents for materials as per regulatory requirements - Preparing and obtaining approvals for purchase orders - Tracking purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials - Reviewing the quality of purchased products - Maintaining records of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, vendor details, quantities, and prices - Keeping updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices - Generating reports on purchases, including cost analyses - Coordinating with cross-functional teams to monitor stock levels and place orders as needed - Coordinating with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage - Staying up-to-date with industry trends by attending trade shows and exhibitions Desired Skills: - Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices and supply chain procedures - Solid analytical skills for creating financial reports and conducting cost analyses - Strong negotiation skills - Hands-on experience with purchasing software Join us in the Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences industry under the Procurement & Supply Chain department as a full-time Purchase Executive/Officer.
