Senior Ethics & Compliance Lead

Role Overview: As the Head of Ethics & Compliance Global Aviation at bp, you will play a crucial role in driving the strategic direction of the program and serving as a trusted business advisor to support Aviation in embedding ethics and compliance globally. Your responsibilities will include leading critical governance meetings, identifying, assessing, and monitoring risks, supporting the expansion of an E&C plan, providing advice on Trade Sanctions, and overseeing concerns management and business integrity investigations. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting E&C requirements, training, communications, sharing knowledge, promoting ethical behaviors and leadership, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and present at critical governance meetings related to the Aviation E&C program - Identify, assess, and monitor all risks including Counterparty Due Diligence, High Risk Agents, and Non-Operated Joint Venture Risk Management - Support the expansion and application of an E&C plan to address risks in Aviation globally - Lead assessment of E&C risks in the annual review of risk management reporting process - Provide Trade Sanctions advice globally and coordinate advisory services - Support E&C requirements, training, and communications - Incorporate ethics and compliance into the Aviation annual communications plan - Share standard methodologies and lessons learned with the ECL community - Lead the E&C strategy for Aviation globally - Act as the primary point of contact for all ethics and compliance-related queries and support - Coordinate concerns management and business integrity investigations - Ensure detailed, fair, and confidential investigations are conducted Qualifications Required: - Minimum 12 years of experience in commercial, operational, business, and JV management, with advisory experience of international trade regulations - Ability to hold compliance positions expertly and objectively, with good judgment in applying global compliance requirements - Proven track record in collaborating with senior internal and external customers and delivering strategic projects - Creative, analytical, with commercial acumen and flexibility - Experience in leading teams and doing business in high-risk regions Legal Disclaimer: Please note that employment may be contingent upon adherence to local policy, which may include pre-placement drug screening, physical fitness review, and background checks.,
