Position Summary

Level: Senior Consultant or equivalent

As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.

Work you’ll do:

Lead discussions with business and functional analysts to understand requirements and assess integration impacts on business architecture. Prepare technical architecture and design, clarify requirements, and resolve ambiguities. Develop solutions in line with established technical designs, integration standards, and quality processes. Create and enforce technical design and development guides, templates, and standards. Facilitate daily scrum meetings, manage deliverables, and prepare weekly status reports for leadership review. Conduct detailed deliverable reviews and provide technical guidance to team members. Collaborate with onsite clients, coordinators, analysts, and cross-functional teams. Design templates or scripts to automate routine development or operational tasks.

  Analyze historical data and identify potential opportunities where AI can reduce operational expenditure
• Work with process experts and application SMEs to finalize on the opportunity
• Design the solution for the pattern identified.
• Work with business and Tech teams to draft requirements.
• Work with development and testing teams to build solutions for the identified requirements.
• Ensuring code quality and coverage adherence as well as debugging and resolving any issues/defects
• Participate in delivery process like Agile development and actively contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Resolve issues or incidents reported by end users and escalate any quality issues or risks with team leads/scrum masters/project leaders.
• Demonstrate problem-solving mindset and ability to analyze business requirements

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• 
  7+ years of experience working on Elevance Health WGS Claims Platform.
• Strong technical skills in COBOL, IMSDB, SQL, TERADATA
• Implement Microservices architecture, visualization, and development processes
• Experience in exposing applications on Mainframes as Restful and SOAP Webservices
• Knowledge on API management, Service discovery, service orchestration, security as a service
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• 
  Knowledge of Pega 8.x and work flow Management
• Handson Knowledge on Claim Intake and Workflow(CIW) systems
• Experience in at least one cloud platform – AWS/Azure/GCP
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum Software Development Methodologies
• Knowledge of utilizing AI for solving complex business problems.

Education:

• 
  BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
